Free Useful Applications For Windows 10

Hello Friends,
I wanna list a free useful applications I believe that every PC should have, some of these applications are also available on Linux as well, be noted that these applications I personally use and I believe that they are the best in their genre. Let's get to the list.

I love Libre office, it is a professional office suite and it is open source and free, for me it is the best office suite out there, I use a lot of writing document and it fit me perfectly and to be honest with you, I find it to be far better than the paid version of Microsoft office, If you write a lot or use excel sheets, give Libre office a try.
I used a lot of text editor for coding, but by far this is my favorite, it is free and very professional, it has a lot of useful tools, and tons of plugins available to make your coding experience better, if you are a coder I encourage you to give vs code a try.
You will find this application installed by default in windows 10, for me I love note taking applications like this one, it is so organized and you have the freedom to write and take notes on any part of the page, you can get creative and do a lot with this app, also you can use it as a journal application, I wasn't a note taking person but I really enjoy OneNote.
  • Audacity [Audio Editor] - also available on Linux - 
If you are a creator so for sure you will need an audio software and Audacity is the best free audio editor out there in my opinion, it is a feature rich application, definitely you should give it a try.
  • Gimp [Photo Editor] - also available on Linux - 
Gimp is a real competitor of Photoshop, it is a free and open source software, it required some learning and practicing but you will find it a very powerful photo editor software. 
It is a competitor of Adobe Lightroom, I don't play with that one for long, but if you are taking a lot of photos with your camera and want a Lightroom Like software I'm sure Raw therapee will not disappoint you.
Hands down! this is the best video editor I use and I use a lot of those, it is very professional and of course it require some learning and practicing but it will worth it to learn it, if you are a YouTube creator or even a film maker you will find this application very useful.
  • VeraCrypt [File Encryption] - also available on Linux - 
It is powerful file encryption software, I guess it is based on TrueCrypt - Which become outdated and not supported anymore - if you need to have a drive with a password on it or an encrypted file container I'm sure you will find this software very useful, it is better than bitlocker in my opinion and it is free ans open source software.
  • VLC [Video Player] - also available on Linux - 
The best video player out there, it has a lot of features, you can listen to radio and podcast on it, you can stream YouTube Videos on it as well, it is a very features rich software, if you never heard of it, I highly recommend that you give this one a try.
